last night ...

last night, I was at a free bbc concert, "Lagan Live" for the opening of Customs House Square, a newly rejuvenated area of town.

SO we got two unknown bands, Leya and the Revs (who were both pretty good), then the Undertones (where the fuck is Fergal Sharkey? They had a lead singer who seems like he was getting on like a cross between Jarvis Cocker, and Mick Jagger in his younger days), the Thrills (meh), and Therapy?

I have a new mobile phone number, cos orange are odd about moving PAYG numbers to somewhere else, let me know if you want to be having it

and once again my thinkpad's going to have to go in to IBM again, for the same issue as last time, and the time before that, ie, it's not picking up memory in the second DIMM socket, so that'll be another 4 days without it next week, as I'm not going to leave it in now and have it away for extra days due to the weekend.

Of course, this means if I ever get the same issue again, I should be due a replacement system, which is nice, if only they based that on what I paid for it and I could get a current system like that ;)
